1956 American LaFrance Series 800. Originally purchased by the town of Coolidge, Arizona and retired and sold in 1990. The truck was re-powered with a Detroit Turbo Diesel, Allison four speed automatic transmission and air assist steering sometime near the end of its service career. The rig also has a custom fiberglass top that replicates a closed cab version of the truck.
